ABOUT THE ARTIST: Howard Friedland begins his painting with the challenge of seeing the world with fresh eyes and responding to its beauty in the moment. He strives to capture first impressions with speed and accuracy, focusing on the relationships of color and atmosphere. He is a Signature member of the Plein Air Painters of America and has achieved Master Status in the American Impressionist Society and the Oil Painters of America. He has painted, taught, and exhibited extensively through numerous states in the United States as well as Mexico, France, Italy, England, Spain, Portugal, Croatia and China.
