PASTELS

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: This workshop will cover both the intricate distinctive qualities of florals and the vivid canvas of the spring landscape. In florals, Anne will use an interpretive method, to create a springtime bouquet with an abstract twist instead of a realistic portrayal with an emphasis on interpreting and feeling. When capturing the spring landscape, students will use a limited color palette, use translucent wet underpainting methods, and explore mark making techniques. The workshop will offer focused guidance, independent work periods, and personalized feedback for all participants. |
