WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

The first step in creating your pet portrait is starting with a good photo. You will learn how to look for the right poses, or how to take a proper photo of your pet by having the right kind of lighting and the best angles. Once you have a proper photograph, Barb will advise you what to use and what to change in your photo to make a better composition. She will show you how to achieve different types of fur, expressive eyes, wet noses, and much more. Through several demonstrations, you will learn how to achieve these various skills. Once you’ve done several samples of your own, you will apply these techniques to your own painting.
