OILS, ACRYLICS or PASTELS

Friday, Saturday & Sunday

9:00 am - 4:00 pm

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

This subject can seem overwhelming because there are millions of colors; how can we possibly learn how to mix “the right one?” Here is some good news: Every spot of color that you put on a painting has just THREE main characteristics that you can understand and control! You will learn how to choose the appropriate color and eliminate the guesswork when mixing it. This is not a theoretical class; you will do many handson exercises that explain and reinforce each principle. In addition, you will study successful paintings and explore what makes them work.
