You will realize how little is needed to design a playful expression. Enjoy and use line, mass, and simple color notes in a special way to accentuate focal points. Through ‘doodles’ you will learn to react to what you are seeing in your subject without over thinking. This is a creative approach, which will excite you to make more practice time. This workshop will loosen up any artist, giving you many new tools to explore. Through ‘doodles,’ you’ll learn to react to what you are seeing in your subject without over thinking. A real contemporary perspective and approach—you’ll take home so much to play with.

Kevin’s work has been the subject of several one man shows as well as being included in such prestigious annual shows as the Oil Painters of America, The Great American Figurative Shows and Salon International. Kevin’s award-winning artwork can be seen in galleries throughout the U.S.

After graduating from Illinois State University and the American Academy of Art, Kevin set out on a free-lance illustration career which lasted thirteen years. The demands of painting someone else’s ideas finally took its toll. It was time to paint from his heart and what was important to him.
