Interpreting Your Photos into Better Paintings - Creative Interpretations in Oils

Friday, Saturday & Sunday

 November 3, 4 & 5, 2023

9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Just copying can be boring! Join Frankie in this exciting weekend of challenging exercises that will ignite your creative thinking. Too many details can break down a solid composition. Learn how to turn an average photo into a more exciting painting! Learn how to simplify your reference and how to enhance it at the same time. Combine photos to make stronger compositions, exaggerate the use of color, explore the mystery of edges and create more energetic brush work. Realize what it takes to catch the attention of the viewer. These various painting projects will help you to take more risks.
Bring a few old paintings that you are unsatisfied with, as well.
